How To Use
The cartridge comes in a sterile pack.
Double-cleanse (cleanse and repeat) then wipe the skin clean. Fully tie back your hair, away from your face.
Work in small areas and apply serum to each area before needling. This will help to ensure that the pen does not drag or pull on the skin. The recommended pattern to move the pen for best results is vertical, horizontal, and then diagonal in both directions. Using a light pressure and without dragging, repeat this motion over each area two times.

Q: How Does the Derma pen Work?
A: The derma pen is taken over the area of skin to be treated, and tiny needles cause minute punctures to the skin. These small punctures stimulate the body’s inherent healing response, which naturally rejuvenates the skin.
Q: How many micro-needling treatments will I need?
A: It is recommended on average to receive 4-6 sessions with the Derma pen, for a more personal estimate, just ask your technician for your initial consultation.
Q: How often should I have a Derma pen Micro-Needling treatment and how many do I need?
A: • Typically 4-8 treatment sessions are required with treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. However, individual needs and results will vary. To get the best results from a Derma pen treatment it is important that patients complete the full recommended course. A: It is very important to follow the advice of your practitioner carefully after treatment to help make the procedure as successful possible, reduce the risk of complications and to speed up the inflammation process.Important points to remember:
• Use a minimum broad spectrum sunscreen of SPF 30 (preferably 50) and try to avoid the sun• Only use mineral based foundation or Lycogel for the first 24 hours
• No use of saunas or steam rooms until the skin has returned to normal
Q:Who should not undergo the Medical Needling procedure?
A:• Open wounds, cuts or abrasions to the skin

Q: How many times can each needle tip be re-used?
A: Derma pen’s sterile needle tips are designed to be disposable and are for single-use only, to prevent cross-contamination and infection. The needle tips cannot be properly sterilized after use due to the materials used in their construction. We strongly recommend against re-using needle tip cartridges, as patient safety is of paramount importance.
Derma pen’s design permits the user to change the needle tip cartridge after each treatment. A low consumable cost of the needle tips, combined with little to no downtime for the patient, makes Derma pen an ideal solution.

Q: What should I pay attention to when starting with microneedles?
A: MICRONEEDLING
• Apply the hyaluronic acid serum to the area to lubricate the skin. The serum helps the needles to glide over the skin and prevent the pen from dragging.We do not recommend Vitamin C, retinol, exfoliants, or other brightening ingredients be used during the treatment as they can cause irritation and reaction.
• Ensure your hands are clean; you may wear gloves if you feel safer doing so. Open a new cartridge and attach it to your device. Do not touch the tip of the needles.
• Choose your desired needle depth by rotating the dial on your pen, our pen needles length can be adj.
• Now, working in small areas, apply the serum to the skin just before needling. The recommended pattern to move the pen is vertical, horizontal, then diagonal in both directions.We recommend working in a grid, so you know exactly where you have and haven’t passed over with the pen. Use light pressure, and use your free hand to hold the skin taut.
• When needling areas of the body (such as the legs or hands), avoid needling over the bony parts (especially on the legs). Ensure only to use 36-42 pin cartridges for microneedling the body. Regarding needle depth, we recommend using 0.5 for legs and up to 1.5 for fattier areas.
Q: How to do POST-NEEDLING?
A: POST-NEEDLINGIf you wish to wash your face after, use tepid water. Immediately apply hyaluronic acid to the area to provide hydration and calm the skin. It’s perfectly normal to experience redness, swelling, and pinpoint bleeding after your microneedling treatment. This is nothing to worry about as this reaction is normal. Avoid working out/sweating or applying makeup for 24 hours. If going outside you must apply a high protection sunscreen. Don’t sweat or apply makeup for 24 hours.
